If you’ve come to BOND on a Friday while I’m doing open readings, you know we always end up having the most delicious, ethereal conversations about magick, mysticism, liberation, healing, pop culture, and life in general. You’ll be able to get a tattoo or piercing. And there are always bevs in the community fridge. It will be an amazing opportunity to make new friends and maybe get a reading.
Vernal Equinox:
The Vernal Equinox is happening on Thursday, 20 March, 2025 at 5:01 AM ET. I have class that evening and I’m sure a lot of you have stuff going on as well. For that reason, we’re going to do a day trip to the mountain in Cold Spring just a little outside of the city in upstate New York on Saturday, 15 March 2025 and we will host a virtual Circle at 4:30 AM ET on the day of the Equinox.
Sacred Pilgrimage Hike to Bull Hill (Mount Taurus)
Saturday, 15 March 2025 from 8 AM - 3 PM || 16 spots || $50 - 140 sliding scale
Overview:
If you’ve been following the spiritual content I’ve shared, including in the premium membership, you’ll know the importance of the Appalachian Mountains in the Age of Aquarius. I’m excited to offer an opportunity to connect with this sacred land as we hike Bull Hill (Mount Taurus) in the Hudson Highlands, part of the Appalachian Mountain Range.
This hike is a purifying pilgrimage where we will explore the mountain, visit the Cornish Estate Ruins (Cornish Mansion), commune with local wildlife, engage with the running waters, and participate in a powerful ritual to honor the land and energies of the region.
Hike Details:
Trail: Bull Hill (Mt. Taurus)
Difficulty: Moderately challenging. Personally, I did not find it challenging, but it’s a good workout.
Distance: Approximately 5.5 miles round trip (but we do not have to hike the entire way).
Trailhead: Accessible via a short walk from the Cold Spring train station.
Rituals & Practices:
During our time on the mountain, we will engage in the following practices:
Asking Permission: Honoring the mountain and forest spirits for this exchange.
Pouring Libations: To honor the elemental and cosmic spirits, as well as the ancestral land spirits of the Lenape people of the Delaware Nation.
Grounding Meditation & Breathwork: To center ourselves and facilitate reconciliation.
Purification: Using blue sage, cinnamon, and Florida Water to purify ourselves and each other.
Throat Chakra Release: Somatic release through a collective screaming ritual on the mountain.
Charging & Restoring Meditation: To replenish our energies.
Solar Return Intentions: Setting intentions for the new solar year.
Group Energy Work & Anointing Blessing: I will lead a group blessing to close the experience.
Preparation:
Suggested Items to Bring:
A jar to pour libations and collect river water.
A bag for any materials you feel guided to bring home from the mountain for future Work (with the mountain's approval).
A journal and pen/cil for writing insights
A camera for recording memories
An offering for the mountain and forest spirits (nothing that is not biodegradable. Earth, Air, and Water spirits like sweets. Fire spirits like clear hard liquor. You may consider making it something quite personal as it is a gift from the heart)
Provided Items:
Each participant will receive a goody bag containing smokables, cinnamon brooms, Florida Water, a crystal, and anointing oil.
Please bring your own lunch and snacks for the hike (there are restaurants near the train station for post-hike meals).
Exchange (Sliding Scale):
To make this experience accessible, I’m offering a sliding scale. Pay what feels right for you within your means. Higher payments help subsidize those at the lower end of the scale, ensuring this gathering is open to more people.
Low End: $50–$65 (for those who need financial flexibility).
Middle Tier: $75–$100 (for those who can comfortably pay for the experience).
Upper Tier: $110–$140+ (for those who want to honor the energy exchange and support accessibility for others).

Important Logistics:
Transportation:
Subway to Grand Central Terminal: We will meet at 8:00 AM ET at Grand Central Terminal. The 4 or 5 trains are usually the most direct options.
Metro-North Railroad to Cold Spring:
From Grand Central Terminal, take the Metro-North Hudson Line heading towards Poughkeepsie.
Disembark at the Cold Spring station (about 70 minutes from Grand Central).
A one-way off-peak ticket costs approximately $15.50 (subject to change).
Weather Considerations:
Average temperatures in mid-March in Cold Spring typically range from 30°F (-1°C) to 50°F (10°C). Expect cool to cold conditions.
Dress in layers: Start with a moisture-wicking base layer, followed by insulating layers, and a windproof/waterproof jacket.
Footwear: Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots are recommended for potentially muddy or icy trails.
Accessories: Gloves, a hat, and a scarf are helpful for protection against the morning chill.
Weather Updates: We will monitor forecasts closer to the date. If weather conditions are unfavorable on Saturday, we will reschedule for Sunday. If both days are problematic, we’ll reschedule for the following week.

Equinox Circle
